CHICAGO - If you're staying close to home this holiday weekend, there are plenty of fun events worth checking out.

ZooLights - Lincoln Park Zoo

ZooLights will brighten up your holidays at Lincoln Park Zoo, starting Friday. From 4:30 to 9:00 p.m. the whole family can enjoy more than 100 lit displays, ice carving demonstrations, a light show, crafts, treats and photos with Santa. Admission is free.

Winter Flower Show - Lincoln Park Conservatory
Right next store, the Lincoln Park Conservatory's Holiday Flower Show opens on Friday with colorful poinsettias, trees, sparkling light and a model train winding through the plantings. The show is free and runs through January 7th.

Caroling at Cloudgate - Millennium Park
It's that time of year, each Friday night, November 24th to December 15th from 6 to 7 p.m., it's part concert, part holiday sing-a-long right here in front of the Bean at Millennium Park!

CTA Holiday Train - Green and Orange Lines
The CTA Holiday Train is making its rounds again. You can catch it on Friday along the Green and Orange lines and on Saturday on the Green line.
Vienna Boys Choir - Symphony Center
On the holiday concert beat, the Vienna Boys Choir will perform Christmas in Vienna with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.

Q Brothers Christmas Carol - Chicago Shakespeare Theatre
On the holiday theatre beat, try a hip-hop spin on the Charles Dickens' classic with a Q Brothers Christmas Carol at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre at Navy Pier.

White Christmas - Cadillac Palace Theatre
For something more traditional, Irving Berlin's White Christmas is now in performance at the Cadillac Palace Theatre. The stage adaptation of the classic film runs through December 3rd.
