Former community center spokesman charged with ID fraud

MORTON GROVE, IL In late November, police were called to the home of 51-year-old Mohammed Sodagar after a complaint of domestic battery.

In the home, they say, they found a cache of fake IDs, including credit cards, social security cards and passports.

Police say Sodagar's son told them his father had threatened him and told police his father's only income was from credit card fraud.

Sodagar is charged with fraud, domestic battery and theft.

He's the former spokesman for Morton Grove's Muslim community center.
