Comcast investigated for blocking filesharing

The Federal Communications Commission is looking into claims by consumer groups that Comcast interferes with Internet traffic as customers try to share files online.

The agency asked the FCC to stop Comcast from discriminating against the sharing of data like TV shows and movies.

Comcast denies that it blocks Web sites or online applications but says that it was "delaying" some traffic between computers that share files.

Comcast says it's cooperating with the FCC's investigation.
