Chicago Police have found a stolen dog daycare van on the city's near Southwest Side.

They discovered the white ford cargo van near the Dan Ryan Expressway on South Union and Roosevelt Road just after 7 Tuesday morning. Police say five dogs found in the van are fine.

There is no word if a suspect is in custody.

The dogs were in the van went it was taken off the street in the River North neighborhood Monday night. The driver from a company named Fetch and Play had just dropped off another dog. When he returned the van was gone. Police say he had left the keys inside with the engine running.

The dogs owners are just happy that their pets are safe. At least one dog owner says she will no longer take her dog to Fetch and Play, but she does not plan to take any legal action against the company.

"It's a mistake. People make mistakes. It's a horrible mistake. I mean, I think its wonderful that it all worked out and that we can all get our dogs back. And, that's all I really care about right now," said dog owner Anne Zellner. .
