Borders Books will no longer partner with Amazon and will run its Web site on its own. The two companies have been working in tandem online since 1991.

Borders is looking to increase sales by integrating online and store shopping. Their new Web site will allow customers to reserve books online and then pick them up at the nearest store.

The new site will launch on February 3.

Borders is the nation's second-largest bookseller behind Barnes and Noble
