Group sues FBI over suburban gun range

The Blue E-Co Legal Council in Northbrook wants to keep lead bullets from falling into Lake Michigan. So, the non-profit group filed a lawsuit against the FBI, claiming the ammunition it uses pollutes the lake.

The environmental group wants a judge to ban the agency from firing the bullets into the water.

The FBI issued a statement saying it takes the environment very seriously and ammunition rounds are not being discharged into the lake on a regular basis.
