Young teacher charged with pornography, solicitation

JOLIET, IL Twenty-two-year old Doug Schreiber of Joliet is accused of sending pornographic materials to a 15-year-old student he once taught. He's also accused of trying to arrange a sexual encounter with her.

Prosecutors say Schreiber met the girl while he worked as a student teacher at Joliet West High School last semester.

Schreiber is currently working as a math teacher at Rich East High School in Park Forest.

Joliet police say Schreiber was using an account on the social Web site MySpace to lure potential victims. Police believe there could be more victims.
