The company, according to the Wall Street Journal, is testing a new $1 coffee that comes with- gulp- free refills.
That's a big change from a coffee chain known for its $4 lattes and cappuccinos. However, the Starbucks shares have lost about half their value in the last year due to stiff competition from McDonald's coffee.
But, don't get to excited here in Chicago. The 'short' cup, which is 8 ounces, is only available in Seattle area stores.
