Firefighters rescued several people who were trapped by flames. Three people were hospitalized for severe burns and smoke inhalation. One of them was pronounced dead around 7 a.m.
Fifty firefighters from a dozen surrounding towns helped put out the fire.
The cold conditions prevented them from opening one hydrant, so they had to tap into another one.
