Woman rescued from South Side blaze

Firefighters had to rescue a woman from a burning home on Chicago's South Side Monday.

The fire started just after noon in the 5800-block of South Bishop. A 60-year old woman was pulled from the home. She was taken to Saint Bernard Hospital where she is in critical condition.

A man is in stable condition at Holy Cross Hospital with burns on his hands and upper body.

It is not clear what caused the fire.
