Two railroad employees were treated for potential injuries on scene. Passengers on the train were taken to the police and fire departments in Hinsdale and had to find other arrangements to get to their destinations.
2 Metra trains strike vehicle
HINSDALE, IL The vehicle was hit at the Lincoln St. railroad crossing by an unoccupied eastbound Metra train first. It was then propelled into the path of a second, westbound train headed to Aurora with passengers aboard. The car then caught fire.
