Falling ice closes areas around downtown buildings

Above-freezing temperatures caused ice to fall from some of Chicago's tallest buildings Friday.Police blocked sidewalks around the Sears Tower and the Hancock Center.

One piece of ice reportedly hit a car near the Sears Tower. There are no reports of anyone being hurt.

Traffic around the building was restricted.
