A faction of Chicago Public School teachers are urging their comrades to sign a "no confidence" petition, saying they have lost faith in schools CEO Arne Duncan for recommending that schools be closed, resulting in the displacement of students and staff. About 20 members of the executive board of the ProActive Chicago Teachers unanimously approved the "no confidence" resolution Feb. 4, said PACT chair Deborah Lynch, former president of the Chicago Teachers Union.

The group is now circulating petitions systemwide, asking teachers to sign the "no confidence" vote on Duncan.
