Living near a major airport could take a toll on blood pressure while sleeping.

A new study found that the louder the noise, the more likely blood pressure will go up. Researchers based their findings after studying a group of people who lived near London's Heathrow Airport, as well as airports in Athens, Milan and Stockholm.

Blood pressure also rose in people who were exposed to noisy traffic and other sources.
