According to a new report, college students in love were less likely to take notice of other attractive men and women.
Researchers say the emotion some how makes other people seem less attractive. The study by the University of California and an online dating service is in the journal Evolution and Human Behavior.
Another study by Northwestern University finds that men and women are looking for the same thing in romantic partners. More than 160 college students were given questionnaires about attraction.
Results show that both men and women wanted attractive partners and both sexes also preferred dates with greater ambition and earning potential.
