The Sun-Times reports that she'll be starring in the new movie "Cadillac Records." Beyonce will also serve as the executive producer of the project.
The movie will chronicle the founding of the legendary Chess Records in the 1950s. The Chicago label featured artists including Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf.
Beyonce will play Etta James and she apparently plans to do research in Chicago, where some of the movie will be filmed.
