Naps could boost memory

A short nap can do wonders to boost your memory.

A new study finds just six minutes of shuteye resulted in a significantly better recall of words.

Researchers reporting in New Scientist magazine say ultra-short sleep could launch memory processing in the brain.

But detractors disagree, saying the processing of memories takes place in deep sleep, which does not normally start until at least 20 minutes after falling asleep.
