New research suggests that young men who use this medication recreationally may end up damaging their sperm preventing their chance of starting a family.
The study to be published in the journal Sterility and Fertility also questions the use of Viagra by fertility clinics. The drug is sometimes prescribed to help men produce sperm, but it may actually do more harm than good.
The study shows that in lab experiments Viagra may damage sperm, preventing its ability to fertilize an egg.
