It is one of America's oldest recipe contests. The 43rd Annual Pillsbury Bake-Off is coming up in just a few weeks and this year, two of the 100 contestants are from the Chicago area. The contestants are competing for a chance at a million-dollar grand prize. ABC7's Hungry Hound was curious to see what they have got planned.

Tens of thousands of recipes were submitted, and now, 92 women and eight men are preparing to bake like never before as they go for the million dollar grand prize.

Monika Johnson is a music teacher from Chicago and her recipe is Orange Marmalade-Chorizo Pizza in the Pizza Creations category.

Annette Riva is a dining room coordinator from Berwyn, and her recipe is Buffalo Chicken Salad Tacos with Pineapple Salsa in the Old El Paso Mexican Favorites category.

Even if you're not going to Dallas to compete, you can still get in on the action. Go to bakeoff.com and vote for your favorite recipe through March 31st. Whoever receives the most votes will be awarded a $5,000 "America's Favorite Recipe Award."

Plus, one lucky person who votes online will also be selected in a random drawing. If the grand prize winning recipe for the bake-off is the same recipe the lucky consumer voted for, that person will also win a million dollars.
