Some suburban fire departments got a gift that could help them save some furry friends.

Four departments were given canine oxygen masks thanks to a gift from the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in LaGrange.

The masks go on the snout of a dog.

Representatives from the Westchester, McCook, Oak Brook and Garfield Ridge fire departments were on hand to accept the masks. It is part of the church's "Blessing of Pets" celebration.
