The event will take place on March 7th 2008, in the beautiful Crystal Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Chicago and feature a "Celebrity Dance-Off" pairing local personalities with professional dance instructors. The program for the evening will also feature professional dance demonstrations with world-class dancers, general dancing, dessert, and the chance to be part of the ballroom dancing phenomenon right here in Chicago.

"Once again, we are overwhelmed by the generosity and support of all the Chicago area media stars who have agreed to dance at our event!" said Jill DeMarlo, event founder and Arthur Murray Dance Centers Chicago franchisee. "I am pleased to announce that the following celebrities are scheduled to compete in the celebrity dance-off on March 7th":

This year the proceeds will be donated to two organizations working hard in the fight against breast cancer: A Silver Lining Foundation and the Chicagoland affiliate of Susan G. Komen For The Cure."

"These two organizations do amazing work and provide tremendous support for so many people in the Chicagoland area," said Jane Melvin, who will chair the event again this year. "We are humbled by the incredible efforts of both A Silver Lining and Komen For The Cure and we are inspired to do what we can to help."
