Marsh was shot and killed Sunday night as she was walking with her sisters. Police say the suspect and victim had been involved in a personal dispute.
Tyson had surrendered to police with the help for her pastor Wednesday afternoon.
A prayer vigil was being held Wednesday night at the site of the shooting in the 800 block of N. Waller.
"I feel like that I'm, she made a good decision going to the pastor and turning herself in," said Kadeidrah's aunt Kimberly Marsh. "You took something from me that was very dear to me."
Tyson remained in police custody Thursday afternoon pending a bond hearing.
