Estelle Walgreen is the former wife of Charles Walgreen whose family started the drugstore chain. She has been at odds with some of her neighbors over the pigs.
Lake Forest aldermen had amended city's animal regulation code allowing the pigs to stay on the estate until 2011. But, according to The Daily Herald, Walgreen is now facing foreclosure due to a business failure. The sale is set for March 24.
