Researchers say overweight patients appear to have a more aggressive form of breast cancer and are also likely to die sooner.
A dangerous type of the disease called inflammatory breast cancer was seen in 45 percent of obese patients. That compares with only 15 percent of patients of healthy weight.
Researchers think the fat tissue may increase inflammation, leading to more aggressive disease.
