Bear's Tillman kicks off CPS anti-truancy campaign

CHICAGO Tillman was at Foreman High School on Tuesday helping kick off Chicago Public Schools' new anti truancy campaign.

Tillman is one of several celebrities participating in public service announcements. Their message is that kids can succeed at virtually anything in life if they stay in school.

During his pep talk, Tillman made a tempting offer to Foreman students to get to school every day

"I pledge to buy every last one of you two tickets to Great America out of my own pocket," said Charles Tillman, Chicago Bear, if the students have perfect attendance.

Tillman has also been working on his own program called "It's Cool To Be In School," which has already helped improve attendance significantly at Foreman High School.
