Two employees of a Naperville Petland store are charged with stealing a Pomeranian puppy. Nineteen-year-old Anais Marquez and 19-year-old Karlie Pellock, both of Plainfield, were arrested for planning the theft last Friday.

They allegedly worked with a friend, 29-year-old Emmanuel Lopez of Plainfield, to steal the dog and sell it back to them for $60.

The Pomeranian is worth almost $1,500.

Lopez has since turned himself in. And as for the puppy, a family just adopted him Thursday morning
