Adobe Systems has launched a basic version of its popular photo- editing software Photoshop. While Photoshop is aimed at photography pros, Photoshop Express is said to be much easier to learn.

The service is free. But you do have to register on Adobe's Web site.

Editing the photos is completely web-based, so it can be used on any type of computer, operating system and browser.

Google and Microsoft also offer similar online photo-editing systems.
