Garcia died of head injuries and police call her death a homicide.
Police are now searching for Garcia's husband -- 32-year-old Benito Casanova.
The couple's three children -- 6-year-old Oscar Casanova, 7-year-old Karla Casanova and 11-year-old Fernando Casanova -- remain missing. An amber alert is out for them.
