ABC DAYTIME LAUNCHES A SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE FROM POPULAR CHARACTERS, "ALL MY CHILDREN'S" KENDALL HART AND GREENLEE SMYTHE

ABC Daytime has launched its third signature fragrance, "Charm! All My Children." The fragrance will be featured in-story and at Sears stores nationwide. The fragrance is an outgrowth from "All My Children's" Fusion Owners Greenlee Smythe and Kendall Hart. Kendall Hart also wrote ABC's second storyline-driven novel Charm! The novel debuted at #15 on the New York Times best sellers list.

"When fictional characters can launch real products, you know you have a strong franchise. We are leaders in creating ancillary product for program placement," said Frons. "When products are integrated into storyline it enhances the existing emotional connection our fans have with the characters."

The fragrance, "Charm! All My Children," is a captivating sugar floral scent, including an enchanting mix of Bergamot, Black Currant, Grapefruit, Star Orchid and Sugar Cane. On each bottle of fragrance, there will be a limited edition Swarvoski Crystal Moon Charm that can be added to a pendant or Charm bracelet. The scent will be available as a fragrance, body splash, body lotion and shimmer powder puff. Charm! All My Children was exclusively developed for ABC by Cosmetic Specialties East, Inc. In addition to Sears, the product will also be available at abc.com and soapnet.com.

In story line, Kendall Hart and Greenlee Smythe (Rebecca Budig) and their team at Fusion Cosmetics are launching a new perfume inspired by the heroine in Kendall's recent novel. Kendall began writing as a means to deal with her feelings during her husband's disappearance. Her writings ultimately became the novel Charm!, about a 30 year old woman, Avery, who is trying to balance friends, lovers and a career. She works tirelessly to make her cosmetics company a success and in doing so, launches a new perfume. This perfume is the genesis for the fragrance, "Charm! All My Children."

Kendall Hart, as played by Alicia Minshew, has been a fan favorite since her first appearance on "All My Children" in 2002. Kendall is an impetuous, powerful, business savvy woman who runs a cosmetics company, Fusion, with Greenlee Smythe as played by Rebecca Budig. With the recent return of Rebecca Budig playing the role she created, Greenlee Smythe, viewers have recaptured the special chemistry between Rebecca and Alicia both on and off screen. Greenlee is also a savvy business woman. She is the creative heart of the company and helps keep the women of Fusion on their toes and always thinking about the future success of the company.
