Hyundai says sales are so bad that it's cancelling plans to roll out a new pickup truck in 2011.

Rising gas prices are also blamed for falling truck sales in the United States.

Korean automaker Hyundai says sales are so bad that it's cancelling plans to roll out a new pickup truck in 2011.

The company is abandoning designs for a mid-sized pickup that would have shared the body structure of a newly-designed Kia Sorrento sport utility vehicle.

Hyundai says its considering building a passenger car in lieu of the pickup.
