Educators and child development experts gathered in Chicago's Grant Park to show support for the Chicago Children's Museum, which wants to relocate to the park.New images of the proposed design of the museum were released Monday. The design includes a state-of-the art Chicago Park District field house.

The educators at the news conference said Grant Park is the perfect location for the museum because it would attract children to the heart of Chicago's lakefront area.

"We believe Chicago Children's Museum will place our children at the center of the city and that it will best serve families, students, and educators by providing access, access to public transportation, to green space, and to the best that the city of Chicago has to offer," said Natalie Wartoli, Chicago Children's Museum.

A small group of protestors from a group called "Save Grant Park" showed up to voice their opposition to the proposed location.
