Park district to vote on Lincoln Park fields

CHICAGO Under the original plan, the Latin School would pay an estimated $2 million to construct the fields, which would also give the school first use of the fields during prime times.

But according to Crain's Chicago Business news, a proposal suggests the park district will complete the fields on its own using park district funds and repay the Latin School for money it's already put into the project.

The board is expected to vote on a termination agreement with the Latin School Wednesday.
