Fit test required for cops to fire M-4

Recently, the police department launched a physical fitness test for officers who have applied to carry the semi-automatic M-4.

Police spokeswoman Monique Bond says, if an officer is gasping for breath, the weapon could wave up and down during use.

Bond reportedly told the Chicago Sun-Times that 85 percent of the people who have taken the test have passed. Those who have not are allowed to take the test again as many times as they want.
