Volunteers spread out across the city for several beautification projects. The initiative is part of a nationwide effort called the 'Great American Clean-up.'
At Navy Pier, the latest and greatest green products were on display over the weekend. The Green Festival bills itself as the largest and most authentic green living event in the country. Visitors also can see eco-fashions and find out about organic and fair trade foods.
The festival continues through Sunday.
