Erectile dysfunction could be sign of heart trouble

Two new studies find those with ED were twice as likely as others with diabetes to develop heart disease.

Researchers say the root of the cause may be blood vessel damage caused by high blood sugar levels.

One of the studies the Journal of the American College of Cardiology shows cholesterol lowering medication could help cut the risk of heart problems by one-third. It also suggests that Viagra and other medications in the same drug family might offer similar protection.
