West suburban roof collapses, 2 injured

AURORA It is an office space building under construction on the 900-block of Frontenac.

Authorities say the collapse was possibly the result of a wind gust.

There was initial word that three people were trapped. Once emergency crews arrived, the trapped workers were able to get out with the assistance of construction workers from another company who heard the crash and went to help.

Two workers were transported to Copley Hospital in stable condition.
