An Indiana teenager was injured after being struck by lightning while driving. Nick Brown, 18, was driving near his home in Rochester when a bolt of lightning went through the windshield and roof of his vehicle and then right through him.

He managed to keep driving but Nick thinks he was unconscious. He woke up off the road and called his dad.

"It came in right on my shoulder right through about here and then it exited through the back of it," said Nick Brown, struck by lightning.

"My boy calls me and tells me that, 'Yeah, dad, I just got struck by lightning, just hit the car.' And his voice was really shaky and getting faint," said Greg Brown, Nick's father.

Brown was treated at a hospital and released. He plans to hang his burnt shirt on his wall as a reminder.
