CHICAGO --Chicago's Olympic bid maybe in for some changes. Mayor Daley says he would move the Olympic Village to the campus of Michael Reese Hospital, which will close soon. Under the current bid, the village would be built on the lakefront over a McCormick Place truck staging area. The price tag was listed as $1.1 billion.
Mayor Daley says having the village at Michael Reese would cost a lot less.
Chicago and three other cities are bidding for the 2016 Summer Games.
The winner will be announced next year.
