The free lessons, taught by Tommye Giacchino and Gregory Day, last an hour. Swing Nouveau will then perform from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Spirit of Music Garden, 601 S. Michigan Avenue (between Harrison Street and Balbo Drive).
Chicago SummerDance is a series of concerts and dance lessons in several styles of music. It runs Thursday, June 12--Sunday, August 24 and is presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs.
