Rally against proposed railway acquisition

The group is holding a series of forums to raise public concern regarding Canadian National's plan to take over a 36-mile stretch of the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway.

They say Canadian National has not answered to community concerns regarding congestion, safety and infrastructural expenses.

Canadian National says it is planning more meetings with communities as well as with the Federal Surface Transportation Board.
