CHICAGO --Wrigley Field and the Cubs are still waiting for new owners, but the Anheuser Bush Company went ahead and signed a new deal with the team. The Chicago Tribune says the five-year contract with the beer maker renews the naming rights for the Bud Light bleachers and maintains the company's exclusive beer advertising in the park. But it also adds naming rights for the batter's eye suites in center field.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The initial bids for either the Cubs or Wrigley Field are due later this month.
