Taste of Chicago draws more than 3.5 million

Now that the 28th Annual Taste of Chicago is over, the cleanup in Grant Park is keeping workers busy.Street crews were power washing Columbus avenue on Monday.

The big task of hauling away the trash and breaking down tents, booths and attractions has already been completed.

Volunteers with the Greater Chicago Food Depository collected the leftovers shortly after the taste closed on Sunday. More than 3.5 million people visited Chicago's biggest summer festival during its 10-day run.

The most popular menu item this year was pizza. Vendors served up more than 2,000 slices.
