CHICAGO --The Chicago Housing Authority has temporarily suspended the contract of the property manager at the public housing complex where a 3-year-old boy was killed last month. Urban Property Advisers managed the Cabrini-Green rowhouses where a section of an iron gate fell on top of Chris Cooper. The boy was riding his tricycle when the gate fell and hit him on the head.
Cooper's mother has filed a lawsuit against Urban Property as well. She claims the company neglected the property.
