CHICAGO --A 16-year-old male is in custody after a causing a disturbance on the city's South Side Thursday. At about 6:30 p.m., police were called to the 5600-block of South Indiana about a man with a gun. After three hours, the teenage suspect surrendered to police.
He has been charged with two counts of battery and six counts of aggravated assault with a weapon.
Eight people -- including a 6-year-old child -- were later escorted by police from the apartment building.
