Indiana soldier becomes action figure

He played with GI Joes as a child. Now an Indiana soldier is the model for a new action hero doll. Sergeant John Adams is from downstate Marysville, Indiana. He is one of eight decorated soldiers depicted in action figures and a video game by the U.S. Army.

Adams won the Bronze Star after he captured an insurgent in Iraq who was attempting to hide an explosive device. His heroic action is credited with saving countless lives.

Adams says being immortalized in plastic as a hero is an incredible experience.
