2 charged in Eisenhower chase

CHICAGO Thirty-one-year-old Matthew Ristau of Glen Ellyn is facing 13 charges, including DUI, possession of heroin and aggravated battery to a police officer.

Chicago police say they were questioning Ristau in a drug investigation when he struck an officer with his car. He then took off and led officers on a chase on the Eisenhower. They say the driver suddenly did a U-turn and crashed into a police truck.

Ristau then reportedly drove toward another officer. And police fired on the car.

Fifty-three-year-old Thomas Hogueisson is also charged with possession of heroin.
