Some Florida babies are on the "little blue pill"

Doctors at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla. are prescribing Viagra to infants with lung problems. The erectile dysfunction drug has a different effect on these infants. Viagra allows more blood to flow into the infants' lungs, and it helps improve breathing in the young patients, doctors say.

They call it a wonder drug for babies born with pulmonary hypertension.

Since babies can't swallow the pill, pharmacists have to crush it and give it to them in liquid form.
