Aurora Animal Control took the dog to a veterinarian for an examination. The director there tells our news partner The Daily Herald the dog was being treated for dehydration and injuries to the pads of her feet. She says the dog should be okay after a few days of treatment.
AURORA --A man from west suburban Aurora has been charged with felony animal cruelty.Twenty-five-year-old David Solis is accused of dragging a pit bull from a leash while it was attached to his car. Police aren't sure why Solis was allegedly dragging the dog around an oval track at his apartment complex.
