Ill. politicians among DNCC speakers

We're learning more about who is joining the long list of speakers at next week's Democratic National Convention. Monday night's headline speaker is Michelle Obama, the wife of Senator Barack Obama.

Joining her are several top Democrat leaders from Illinois. They are Representative Jesse Jackson Jr., Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, State Comptroller Dan Hynes, Illinois State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias and Chicago City Clerk Miguel Del Valle.

Tom Balanoff, the president of the Illinois Service Employees Union, will also address the delegates Monday night.

The theme of the evening is "One Nation." Chicago Mayor Richard Daley is scheduled to speak at the convention Wednesday night.

Senator Obama accepts the Democratic Party's nomination Thursday night.
