New Treo marks Palm's re-entry into PDA market

After months of rumors, the company officially launched its new ultra-thin smart phone Wednesday.

The phone has a one-touch Wi-Fi button and larger screen. It is powered by Windows Mobile.

The Palm Treo Pro will be sold in an unlocked version in the US, meaning it will work on any carrier.

It sells for $550 beginning in September on the Internet and at select retailers.
